Dedicated to Making a Difference

Public service extends beyond government—it’s about rolling up your sleeves and making a tangible impact in the lives of those around you. My dedication to the community of Margaret and the surrounding areas has led me to take on many roles in education, service organizations and community outreach. Whether through mentorship, leadership, or direct action, I am proud of the work I’ve done to support our schools, nonprofits and essential services.

Supporting Education & Technology

One of my greatest passions is ensuring that young people have the opportunities and tools they need to succeed. Over the past two years, I have volunteered with TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools), helping to teach Intro to Computer Science at St. Clair County High School (SCCHS). TEALS, a program founded by Microsoft, connects industry professionals with high schools to develop and teach computer science courses. By bringing real-world tech experience into the classroom, TEALS volunteers like myself help bridge the gap between industry needs and education, preparing students for future careers in technology.

In addition to hands-on classroom experience, I serve on the St. Clair County Education Foundation since its reestablishment in October 2023. I not only advocate for improved educational resources but also built and manage the Foundation’s website and social media presence, helping to keep the community informed and engaged in supporting local schools.

Leadership in Community Organizations

I have long believed in the power of civic engagement to drive meaningful change. For over two years, I served as the Treasurer of the Springville Area Rotary, ensuring the financial stability of an organization dedicated to service and charitable giving. Through this role, I helped support local initiatives and community development projects that make a real difference in our region.

Additionally, I am proud to serve as the Committee Chair for the Argo Boy Scout Troop, mentoring young scouts and helping them develop leadership skills, a sense of responsibility and a commitment to service. As part of my dedication to the scouting program, I have completed the Wood Badge Adult Leadership Training, an advanced training program that equips leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to guide and inspire scouts effectively.

Giving Back Through Lifesaving Donations

For years, I have been a dedicated donor with LifeSouth, specializing in Apheresis/Platelet donations. As a 10-galloneer donor, I have regularly donated since high school, ensuring that hospitals and patients receive the life-saving blood products they need. This is a cause that remains deeply personal to me and I encourage others to consider the simple yet impactful act of donating.

A Lifelong Commitment to Service

My dedication to giving back is not just about holding positions or titles—it’s about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Whether through education, civic leadership, youth mentorship, or blood donation, I believe that strong communities are built on service and collective effort.

As I campaign for mayor, I bring this same philosophy of action, dedication and accountability to my vision for Margaret. If elected, I will continue working tirelessly for our residents, just as I have for years in my volunteer efforts.

Join the movement and be a part of building a stronger, better Margaret!
